General Issues

Why does my query not respond or take longer sometimes?

Samey AI processes queries by delegating tasks to different AI agents. In some cases, the system continues to pass tasks between these agents, causing delays or non-responsiveness.

- Currently, there is a timeout limit of 5 minutes. If a query takes longer than this, it may fail to return a response.
- We are actively working on improving task delegation to minimise delays.

- Try rephrasing the query or breaking it into smaller parts.
- If the issue persists, report it via our Bug Report Form.

How can I see my data sources connection progress?

We are currently developing a Data Ingestion Progress screen, which will:
- Show the status of data ingestion from connected sources.
- Indicate how much data has been processed and is available for queries.

File & Data Limitations

What happens to my password-protected files?

No, Samey AI does not support password-protected files for ingestion.

Why?
- The system cannot process encrypted or password-protected files.
- If you need to ingest such files, each file must be manually unlocked before uploading.

Alternative Solution:
- If possible, remove the password before uploading the file.
- Use non-encrypted file formats to ensure smooth data ingestion.

Can I access Samey AI on mobile?

Currently, Samey AI is only available on Windows and macOS as a desktop application. A mobile version is not yet available.

What should I do if my integration does not connect?

If your integration fails to connect:
- Ensure you have the correct login credentials.
- Verify that your organisation allows third-party connections.
- Click "Refresh" in the Data Integrations page and try again.
- If the problem persists, report it via our Support Page.
